pHairway - Water Treatment Amendment
What is pHairway? (pronounced fair-way) pHairway is a water treatment
amendment that when added to irrigation water, can control the destructive
dissolved salts and bicarbonates that are harmful to your turf.
Do you need pHairway Water Treatment?
Almost all irrigation water contains dissolved salts. Some are
beneficial such as calcium, magnesium, sulfate, and nitrate. Others such as
sodium, chloride, and boron are examples of potentially toxic salt
ingredients that must be carefully managed or avoided if possible. The
presence of these salts in both irrigation water and soil can cause
destruction of soil structure and precipitation of insoluble salts in
irrigation equipment. Fortunately, these can be controlled with the addition
of pHairway to the irrigation water.
Zebra Mussel problem?
pHairway has been successfully used to provide 100% control of zebra
mussels within the irrigation system! pHairway does not adversely affect
the turf and is the most economical method of treatment for zebra mussels
available today. Some of the added benefits of using the product are
lowering the water’s pH, optimizing pesticide applications and producing a
nice greening up of the turf.

Destroying the Myth
The amount of Nitrogen added is well below the minimum values typically
used in Nitrogen applications. The observed growth and greening can then be
attributed to the benefits of the other components and actions of the
pHairway treatment.
